It might seem a stretch but in the future we will not be able to distinguish between a real person and an animated character with artificial intelligence over a video phone. When the first AI system will be ready for activation, what personality should it manifest? Should it be an artificial, average or ideal personality? Or maybe the character of Jesus? Or Buddha? Or Einstein? Why not yours? When human like artificial intelligence will reach mass production we could upload “the right” artificial friends.
