Institute unveils full atlas of mouse brain

Sure the future atlas of the human brain will be helpfull in research and treatment of several deseases and sure having the design of such marvelous thinking engine why not implementing it in an Artificial Intelligence project.

Allen Institute for Brain Science reports the first success in a brain atlas competing with IBM’s Blue Brain Project for the human brain blueprint.

I would imagine in the next 5 to 10 years the first AI brain based on these works. At that time running on supercomputers. But in the next step 10-20 years from now we’d likely have an application for our desktops.

If you cannot wait 20 years just make sure you save properly all youre dearest memories and thoughts to be available for uploading. The body might have been gone but your thoughts, dreams and business might deserve continuation.
